Uttar Pradesh (Muzaffarnagar) native Ruby Choudhary against whom a case has been registered by security officer of lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (lBSNAA), Mussoorie in Mussoorie police station, alleged on Friday, addressing the media, that Uttarakhand police are shielding the IAS officer and academy deputy director Saurabh Jain whom she had bribed to secure her accommodation in the well-protected academy campus.
“This is because Jain is politically well-connected. Muzaffarnagar DM is also helping him. Which is why police have not yet lodged an FIR based on my written complaint,” she alleged. She further said if things continue this way she might take the extreme step of committing suicide. “I am in a depressed state of mind. Suicide is the only issue out of things if justice is denied to me,” she said. Choudhary said, “I do not have any record of the series of conversations I had with Jain. He used to talk to me either over his office telephone or face to face about the job of librarian, I was promised in lieu of money.”
“Special Investigation Team (SIT) casually asked me about Jain during five hours they grilled me on Thursday evening,” she added. She said Jain should come out and reveal the truth. “Police should at the least lodge a zero FIR against the IAS on the basis of my statement,” she said. Choudhary appealed to the media persons and police not to drag her family in the matter. “They have nothing to do with it. I do not have any truck with any one of them. I am ready to face the consequences of what I have done. But they should be spared,” she said.
