The tall claims made by the Uttarakhand Police that justice would not be delayed proved useless as the police failed to lodge complaint of five victims of the same family after they were badly thrashed by miscreants late in the last night.
After being denied justice to them, the victims approached to Senior Superintendent of Police, Kewal Khurana who instructed police station in-charge to investigate into the matter. According to the information available, Ravindra Kumar resident of Indira Nagar Colony, Doiwala was brutally assaulted by the half-a-dozen miscreants, after he refused to give milk to the main accused, Sumit late in the last night. Annoyed after denying the milk to accused, he along with half a dozen miscreants badly thrashed him and his family members including his wife, two daughters and son.
Ravindra alleged that the assaulters had even thrashed him at hospital campus, while he along with his family members was receiving treatment and the city police are not lodging complaint due to influential police background. Considering the plight of the victims, SSP has instructed the Doiwala police station to lodge the complaint and take effective steps to redress their grievances.
