A traffic police constable named Vijay Prasad Raturi who was posted at Nehru Gram area, came across a mobile phone worth about Rs 20,000 lying on the road in the area during the weekend.
Raturi presented an example of honesty and returned the mobile phone to its owner named Nikki Rayal, a resident of Ranjhawala area in Dehradun on Sunday. Raturi had returned her mobile phone after verifying its relevant documents. Earlier on September 26, 2017, he had come across a mobile phone worth Rs 56, 000 while working at Rispana bridge, Dehradun and returned it to its owner after verifying its relevant documents. Dehradun senior police officers appreciated his honesty.
