Gearing up for the next elections, the Congress party organised a Uttarakhand Swabhiman Raksha Sammelan here on Sunday and declared to bring young faces of the party in foreground. PCC chief Kishore Upadhyay has said that in landhaura violence case BJP might have a suspected hand for which probe is a must.
Addressing the party members, the national secretary of Youth congress Suraj Hegde said, “Seeing the good performance of Congress in many states of India and the growth curve of youths rising, in Uttarakhand State too youths shall be brought forward.”
Kishore Upadhyay said that both ‘Anubhav’ and ‘Josh’ (experience and enthusiasm) was necessary to win the polls. We shall fight the elections with a smooth coordination amongst the party members and bring the able youth congress leaders in front,” he said. He added that BJP had failed on every front. The party strategised not only to finish the national party but also the regional political outfits.
When asked about landhaura violence, Kishore said that probe was a must and it could be BJP behind making the war game.
