Commenting on BJP preparation for Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi’s rally, Congress vice president Suryakant Dhasmana said that on the one hand the BJP is blaming that State has failed to provide succour to the disaster victim and other hand they have been spending crores of rupees in rally preparation.
Even they have defaced the Derhadun public and private property as well. Despite seeing this Municipal Corporation Dehradun Mayor Vinod Chamoli, who is a leader of BJP, is keeping mum on this issue.
He also said that late Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna had addressed a public rally in the same ground in 1981 and gathering was historic. BJP would not be able to break the benchmark set by late HN Bahuguna. Even they have been running speech of Swami Vivekanda to lure the audience. Although he made it clear that the congress is not going to protest BJP rally but asked they should have organised the rally in simple way instead of festival mode.
