The Congress Government is misusing Government machineries to bully BJP workers and hapless voters to win the Bhagwanpur Assembly by-polls, according to the State BJP president Tirath Singh Rawat.
However, despite this, BJP candidate Rajpal Singh is running ahead of the Congress nominee Mamta Rawat, he added. Talking about the yatra, Rawat said BJP would be on char dham yatra for three days, beginning on April 17.
Thereafter, they would seek appointment with President and Governor to apprise them of the ground situation. State BJP leaders are all set to embark on Char Dham Yatra to get the real feel of things, he said, adding that it looks that the State Government is ‘boasting’ of paving way for a glitch-free yatra. Being the Opposition party, it is our moral duty to educate the people about the real status of the yatra route.
"As the State Government is depicting a rosy picture we must see what the things are on the ground," he said. later on talking about the BJP member-ship drive, Rawat said that the party membership figure has touched nine crore which is more than the figure of the Communist Party of China (CPC).
