Reacting against the BJP allegation, Uttarakhand PCC spokesperson Dhirendra Pratap invited Tehri MP Mala Rajyalakshmi Shah to have a debate with him at clock tower. He further said that BJP is making baseless allegations against the PCC president Yashpal Arya, under his leadership party won all five lok Sabha seats in general election-2009 and won Assembly election-2012 as well, because they could not digest his ability to sail the boat against the tide.

On Sunday, he released a CD (compact disc) having songs of Congress election campaign and will be played in party candidates’ canvassing, in which the party has highlighted Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Gurantee Act (MNREGA), which is one the major achievements of Congress-led UPA Government, but they did not highlighted Congress-led State Government’s achievement of last one year. Replying to media query, Dhirendra said that Congress Government has done lot to the serve the people of the country; so no question arises about State and Union Government.

Dhirendra further said that as election is approaching nearer, BJP has intensified their attack on Congress and its president. He appealed MP Mala Rajyalakshmi Shah to come at clock tower to have a debate. He further challenged if Tehri MP defeats him with facts and figure then he would march from Clock tower to Congress Bhawan by wearing upturned cap (ulti topi) and later he would resign from politics as well.

BJP should apologise for making false allegation. Appreciating Vijay Bahuguna Government, which brought Rs1,000 crore investment including Rs600 crore of cola cola and Rs400 crore of DS group in last one week. Instead of appreciating the State Government for investment, they have been putting question mark over the investment. Even so call environmentalists are creating false propaganda by giving wrong facts and figure. He appealed to the farmers to beware from such so called environmentalists.

For instance they did it similar thing in Singur, West Bengal when Tata decided to make investment there then few people had created false propaganda. Ultimately Tata decided to wrap up their industry from west Bengal and now situation known to everyone.

He also appealed to the environmentalist that beware from using such publicity stunt and don’t spoilt industrial friendly atmosphere.

Replying to the BJP demand that Congress-led State Government to enquire high level probe into the illegitimate relation of a Cabinet Minister with a spinster, who had given birth to a baby at New Delhi, few days ago, Dhirendra said that BJP should also do investigation in United State of America where more than 40 per cent women give birth without being married.
