Interestingly, the State Congress top brass, including the former Chief Minister Harish Rawat and the State party president Kishore Upadhyay, staged an agitation at Cantt police station on March 31, protesting against the Dehradun police seizing Government documents from the residence of Gram Pradhan leela Sharma who is also a Congress leader. They alleged that police working under the influence of a particular Bharatiya Janata Party leader had framed Sharma in a fabricated case.
