In the case of the floating marina sinking partially in Tehri dam reservoir, the Bharatiya Janata Party has stated that the Congress has acknowledged that the scam which led to this incident was orchestrated during the term of the Congress-led State Government.
BJP State media in-charge Devendra Bhasin said that the statements made by Congress leaders in a Press conference had proved the allegations leveled by the BJP. “The Congress has acknowledged that the boat was constructed under the term of its government though Congress is not explaining why the UPRNNL was given the boat building task and why the corporation handed this task to an inexperienced company.
After that the Uttarakhand Tourism Development Board issued a certificate without proper inspection. Congress stating that the government did not have an NOC for operating such a boat raises the question as to why were crores spent on making such a boat in the first place then.
