lambasting the BJP, which has been harping on corruption charges and organising ‘Pardafaash’ rally, city Congress president Prithviraj Chouhan has advised the BJP to do introspection because a large number of scams happened during BJP regime between 2007 and 2012, including that of ex-CM Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank. During Dr Nishank regime Kumbha and hydro power scams happened, he alleged.
Even during Maj Gen Bhuwan Chandra Khanduri regime his personal secretary PK Sarangi was clearing all files on behalf of him. Due to this reason Gen Khanduri had to resign from the post of Chief Minsiter.
The March 18 incident, when nine dissident Congress MlAs left the the Treasury bench while Opposition was demanding division of vote on appropriation Bill, is very unfortunate.
That particular incident has pushed the State backward and it will have to struggle hard to cover up the loss which happened between March 18-May 11.
The BJP had lured nine Congress MlAs and tried to topple the democratically elected Government.
After enjoying four and half years in Congress regime now these 10 MlAs have become blue-eyed boy of BJP.
Now BJP is not talking about the corruption which happened due to these dissident congress MlAs, he said.
The municipal corporation is being led by the BJP leader and everybody is witnessing how city has turned as bad to worst. Every nook and corner you can see heap of garbage and people are crossing the areas by covering their face becasue of bad smells emanating most of the areas.
Drainage systems are choked because they did not clean ahead of rainy season. City Congress had made an ardent appeal to the MCD to clean up the drainage and warned disease may spread due to unhygienic condition in the city.
The BJP should also talk about the wrongdoing of MCD becasue now city is witnessing Dengue and typhoid disease.

Union Govenrment funded schemes including scholarship for poor, SC and ST students have closed down. Union govenrment is exploiting Uttarakhand and our MPs are sitting mum as if they don’t want to take up the state issue beacuse if they raise then their senior leader might get angry to them.
The Harish Rawat-led Uttarakhand Government has executed several public welfare works on ground, the Congress leader claimed.
Now Harela, Jhumaelo like programme have been acknowledged national and international arena. local agriculture produces like Koda, Jhangora, Kali Bhatt, Gahat are being sold at higher rate and it has given boosted to the confidence of local farmers and now they are tilling their farm with a hope that they would get better price of their produce.
State Government’s scheme like Hito Pahad has checked migration from hills. After Kedarnath disaster-2013 state government is executing several projects by using their own resources but BJP believes in negative politics. State Government is organising char dham yatra in professional manner and record number of pilgrims visited to Uttarakhand this year. Seeing this positive development BJP could not digest it and they have been conducting ‘Pardafaash rally because they want to divert the people’s attention.
