The Congress Dehradun Mahanagar chief Prithviraj Chauhan accused the former MlA of Raipur for the State of affairs in the constituency where he states that development works have been affected and level of civic sanitation has deteriorated further. Addressing a meet in Dharmpur on Sunday, Chauhan said the people of Raipur constituency were facing the detrimental consequences of the absene of their MlA. “The extent of developmental works executed was highest in the Raipur and Kedarnath constituencies but after enjoying power for four years in the Government, the exit of the MlAs has affected the public. Considerable developmental works were executed in Raipur constituency in the past but now the drains are clogged and level of civic sanitation has deteriorated with the municipal authorities failing to ensure the needful,” he alleged.
