CM's wife used bogus docs to secure teacher's job, alleges Subhash Sharma

The teacher transfer row, started by the Chief Minister-Uttara Bahuguna showdown early this month, is refusing to die down as a social media activist and former BJP leader Subhash Sharma alleged that Sunita Rawat, wife of the Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat, had secured the teacher’s job in the Government-run school on the basis of fake documents.

Addressing the newspersons here on Wednesday, Sharma said that wife of the CM is just a class X pass. “Thereafter, she took certificates of Madhyama and Shastri and then she did B.Ed,” he said, adding that the educational certificates of Sunita Rawat are not recognised.

Sharma, further, said that the police should act and probe the matter which is very serious.

He said that a RTI application had been filed in the education department recently about the educational qualifications of Sunita Rawat. “The department replied that the information sought being private in nature cannot be provided,” he stated.

Demanding a SIT inquiry into the issue, Sharma said that action should be taken against Sunita Rawat and salary and other allowances paid to her till date should be recovered.
