Chief Minister Harish Rawat attended his office at the Secretariat for the first time on the auspicious occasion of Vasant Panchami on Tuesday. In an informal interaction with the media, the CM said that Vasant Panchami is the festival of Goddess Saraswati and also an important day for farmers.
He himself is a farmer’s son and thus chose this day to start sitting in the office. later, while after meeting members of the Secretariat employees association, Rawat said that employees are an important part of the Government. The Secretariat is the engine of all developments and thus help will be taken from its employees to improve the working conditions.
