The helicopter carrying Chief Minister Harish Rawat, his family members along with PCC chief Kishore Upadhyay and Badrinath MlA Rajendra Bhandari had to make an emergency landing at Joshimath.
The emergency landing was made due to some technical snag experienced during Rawat’s flying visits to Badrinath and lokpal area where Hemkund Gurudwara is situated.
Sources state that another chopper was flown to Joshimath to replace the helicopter which had developed a technical snag. Additionally, the CM also covered some stretches of his trip by road.
