Chief Minister Harish Rawat has categorically asked to ensure all infrastructural and human resources system according to standards compliant to MCI. He directed to start recruitment process after creating posts for medical colleges. He also directed to speed up in deploying specialist doctors while reviewing the progress of DMC on Tuesday. He also gave directions to complete construction work of medical colleges at priority basis. He also ordered to deploy the posts of pharmacists and ward boys for providing benefit of first aid treatment in the hospitals of remote areas. He said that well equipped medical camps should also be organized in Dehradun and Haldwani. All types of treatment facilities should be provided in these camps. After that, such types of camps to be organized in other districts and specialist doctors to be sent there by Helicopters.
The Cabinet Minister Surendra Singh Negi, Dr. Harak Singh Rawat, the Chief Secretary Shatrughan Singh, Chief Principal Secretary Rakesh Sharma, Principal Secretary Om Prakash and Secretary Bhupinder Singh Aulakh were present on the meeting.
