The Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) president Pritam Singh has said that the Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat should clear uncertainty over the issue of reservation in promotions. Talking with the media persons at the state headquarters of the Congress party here on Wednesday, Singh said that the Uttarakhand government has failed miserably to prevent the employees from going on strike.
“A deep furrow has got created between the general caste and SC, ST employees which would affect the development of the state. It is the responsibility of the government to coordinate with the employees. Our party has always taken both the reserved and unreserved categories along. The chief minister should clear uncertainty on the issue,’’ he said.
