State Chief Minister Vijay Bahuguna also met the Central Health Minister Gulam Nabi and requested him to sanction a central medical college for Uttarakhand.
The CM said that the Health Minister has given a positive response to his request. He also reiterated that State is committed to strengthening medical services in the state. Several effective steps have been taken in this regard. It may be noted that the Central Government had recently taken a decision to open several medical colleges.
