A few days left for the Investor Summit slated to be inaugurated by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi on October 7, the Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat reviewed the preparations for the high-profile meet to be held at Maharana Pratap Sports Stadium on Tuesday. CM asked the officers concerned to ensure that all arrangements to provide cooperation and facilities to the investors and entrepreneurs participating in the summit are made on time.
While talking to the media persons on the sidelines of the review meeting, CM said that so far 1700 investors have registered for Investors Summit. “With the coming of a large number of investors and entrepreneurs in the State, small local industries and entrepreneurs would benefit too in the form of forward and backward linkages,” he said. He, further, said that the local entrepreneurs have shown interest in expanding their industries. “This augurs well for the State,” he said. “Another encouraging sign coming from the upcoming meet is that the investors are showing interest to invest both in the hill and the plain areas of the State,” CM Rawat said.
