In the presence of various literary personalities, Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat released the book “Tehri Rajya Ke Aitihasik Jan Vidroh” authored by senior journalist Jai Singh Rawat. In the book, the author has tried to pour light on the back ground of public struggles, in an independent manner as a journalist. The book further contends that if the leaders of the Tehri public revolution had one direction and one commitment, today either Garhwal would have been a part of Himachal Pradesh or Himachal Pradesh would have been in Garhwal. This book is centered around the leader of Tehri state public revolution, former MP, revolutionary and noted journalist Paripoornanand Painuli. Releasing the book, the chief minister expressed gratitude to the freedom fighters of Tehri and the whole nation, stating that in addition to keeping the memory of the freedom fighters alive, one also needs to benefit from the lessons taught by history.
The Chief Minister also honoured revoluntionary and freedom fighters Paripoornanand Painuli and Sacchidanand Painuli on the occasion.
