The Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, Trivendra Singh Rawat, called upon Governor Krishan Kant Paul at Rajbhawan on the day of Diwali and offered his greetings.
The Director General (DG) of Police, Additional Director General (ADG) law and Order Ashok Kumar, Inspector General (IG) Deepam Seth and other senior officers of State police also visited the residence of Chief Minister and offered their Diwali wishes.
The Sahar Qazi also visited the residence of the Chief Minister to offer his greetings. later in the day Rawat arrived at the BJP State office at Balbir road for laxmi Puja.
In his prayer he wished for prosperity of the State and its residents. MlAs Harbans Kapoor, Khajan Das, former State president Tirath Singh Rawat, Mahanagar president Vinay Goyal and other party leaders were present on the occasion.
