CM meets pilgrims to get feedback on smooth pilgrimage ahead of Budget session

Published on:

With the Opposition gearing up to pillory the State Government for its alleged failure to provide the Char Dham pilgrims with the promised facilities during the upcoming budget session of the State Assembly slated to start on Thursday, the Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat interacted with the pilgrims while going to Doiwala near Dudhli Navdurge Temple on Tuesday to get feedback from them about the arrangements his Government has made to ensure a smooth pilgrimage.

During the interaction, CM turned into a tourist guide while asking them to visit other beautiful scenic spots the State is dotted with aside from the four fabled shrines the state houses. The pilgrims were visibly moved with the CM showcasing his ‘marketing skill’. The CM being found in a new role surprised the  security personnel too who admitted that it was the first time they saw a Chief Minister  marketing the state to the pilgrims.

Chief Minister patiently heard the pilgrims, recounting their experiences and enquired into the administrative  arrangements and facilities being provided to them by the state government. The visibly elated pilgrims thanked the  CM for his warm hospitality and also for the effective steps taken by his government for the convenience  of the pilgrims.
