CM is synonymous with corruption, alleges Vinay Goel

Bharatiya Janata Party State spokesman Vinay Goel alleged that Chief Minister Harish Rawat has become synonymous with corruption considering the manner in which he has accorded three-month service extension to UPCl MD SS Yadav.

CM is known to be adept at closing his eyes to wrong actions if the person has kept him informed in advance or is sharing dividend with him. Goel opined that before becoming the Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, Rawat had created a false notion among the people that once he assumed the office of the CM, major improvement would be brought about in the State. Now everybody has realised that he is an expert in getting his work done fooling people by hook or crook.

Now, at a time when the people are in need of help, the Chief Minister is busy pursuing his personal agenda, averred Goel.

He further lambasted the State Government for discontinuing unemployment allowance by bringing legislation in the house which is akin to deceiving unemployed youth.

Now State Government is talking about skill development of youth when it has less than five months left in office, said Goel, while demanding that the Chief Minister issue a white paper on his announcements and their implementation so that people are able to assess the performance of the State Government.

State Government had announced construction of five flyovers in the state but they started work on only three. Now they are going to inaugurate a incompletely constructed fly over on Monday. This has fueled speculation on the reason prompting Rawat to inaugurate a flyover which is  yet to constructed completely. The authorities could not construct the side lane, drainage and installation of transformer so far but CM is going to dedicate this incomplete structure to the public.

It will be noted that the flyover was supposed to be four lane but was constructed with only two lanes. Ballupur and ISBT flyovers have become major problems for daily commuters using these routes. Recently a businessman had died due to what was later revealed as a major lapse in construction of flyover.

Construction of the Mohkampur railway over bridge and Rest camp railway over bridge is yet to begin.
