Chief Minister Harish Rawat on Thursday inaugurated theVibrant Uttarakhand Trade Fair, organised jointly by the India International Trade Event Organisation (IITEO), Uttarakhand Government and the Industries Association of Uttarakhand, on the Parade Ground. Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that this event will help bring about improvement in the infrastructure and economy of the State. The trade fair will also help attract investors from India and abroad to Uttarakhand, he said.
Speaking on the occasion, the IITEO chairman BS Negi said that the fair has been organised to raise public awareness about activities in the infrastructure, banking, automobiles, real estate, tourism, entertainment, handloom-handicrafts, education, agriculture, environment, industry, IT, science and other sectors. Industries Association of Uttarakhand chairman Pankaj Gupta and secretary Anil Goel also spoke on the occasion. MlA Rajkumar, Chief Secretary N Ravishankar, ITIEO director Amita Roy and others were also present on the occasion.
