Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat held a meeting with union minister of state Ajay Tamta, MP Bhagat Singh Koshyari, cabinet ministers Satpal Maharaj and Prakash Pant in the secretariat regarding the Pancheshwar multipurpose project.
They discussed the preparation of a detailed action plan considering the interests of the nation and State regarding this project. The detailed action plan would be submitted to the Central government.
Rawat directed officials that considering the interests of those being affected by the execution of the project and in view of public suggestions, an action plan should be drafted.
The plan should be drafted keeping in mind the interests of the state, so that detailed discussions can be held with the central government on all the issues.
A detailed project report for this ambitious scheme should also be made taking cognisnace of the experiences of the Tehri dam project, he added.
