To popularise the tea produced in the State across the globe Uttarakhand Chief Minister Harish Rawat unveiled the new progressive logo of Uttarakhand Tea Development Board (UTDB) at Bijapur Guest House on Friday. CM extended his heartiest congratulations to all the members of board and stakeholders for developing an attractive logo applying beautiful imagination.
In his address CM Rawat stated that considering the growing craze and attraction for organic products across the globe production of organic tea in Uttarakhand should be promoted as State has already favourable geographical conditions for the purpose fortunately. Organic tea has hefty demand at the domestic and international market. State Tea Board needed marketing research for their products as consultancy services should be provided in this regard to the board. Uttarakhand has huge potential for providing tea of national and international tastes luckily. Tea produced in Uttarakhand required sufficient marketing.
