The activities of all district, base and female hospitals would now be directly monitored by the State Chief Minister and Director General (DG) health services. The health department has installed CCTV cameras in these hospitals and these cameras are linked with health directorate and the mobile phone of CM. On Thursday, a demonstration of the system was shown by the officials of State health department at health directorate to media persons. The DG health services Dr Archana Srivastava informed that 10- 15 cameras have been installed in registration counter, medicine counter and other places of the hospitals and images of can be seen in the DG office. She said, cameras have been installed in nine hospitals and in other places also they would be installed soon.
