The Chief Minister Harish Rawat directed the officials to constitute a committee of DMs, CDOs and SDMs of concerned Tehsils of disaster affected districts for revision of the cases regarding disaster relief during disaster. He said that the committee will prepare a complete description of victims, loss of property and provided relief to the victims by the government. He directed that all details to be made available to the Government soon. The CM Rawat said that Additional Secretary C Ravishankar will supervise this episode, so that accurate information could be available in this regard. He also asked to focus on publicity of compensation paid to the victims during disaster.
At the meeting, Cabinet Minister Mantri Prasad Naithani, Chief Secretary S Ramaswamy, Additional Chief Secretary Dr Ranveer Singh, Secretary Anand Vardhan, Secretary and Garhwal Commisioner Vinod Sharma, Secretary DS Garbyal, Arvind Singh Hyanki and DMs of concerned districts were present.
