Close battle between BJP and Congress

Published on:

Heera Singh Bisht, who has been contesting bypoll against BJP national secretary Trivendra Singh Rawat from Doiwala Assembly seat, has been giving a tough fight to the BJP because he has developed sympathy with the voters.

This bypoll would decide the future of two heavy weight leaders of both parties ie the Congress and the BJP because both had lost during Assembly election-2012 from Doiwala and Raipur.

During public meeting Bisht has been asking people that why he was defeated in Assembly election-2012IJ Then you punished me so now it is my turn to be blessed by you. Currenty state is being ruled by the Congress led State Government so if you bless me then you would strengthen the State Government. If you fail to bless me then history will not forgive you for political instability in the State. With this Bisht is putting all efforts to touch the heart of Doiwala voters. Talking to The Pioneer a worker, who was busy in putting BJP flag , says that BJP lacks coordination while Congress is also lacking their position is better because they believe that they would get immediate benefit because State is being ruled by the Congress and will continue till 2017. During Assembly election Congress leader SP Singh had contested election as an Independent but this time he is with Congress. It means Bisht is having added advantage but in BJP factionalism at its peak. Although they have not been showing overtly because of changed atmosphere at party high command but covertly they are working how to defeat Rawat.

On the other hand Trivendra Singh Rawat has been struggling hard to touch the heart of people but not getting support within the party. If this would continue then situation would be more tough.
