Newly appointed Nainital District Magistrate Arvind Singh Hayanki took charge of office in Nainital on Wednesday.
He assumed charge of the office from outgoing District Magistrate Nidhimani Tripathi in the lake City on Wednesday morning. Taking the new assignment, Hayanki said that to ensure clean and transparent functioning of the district administration will be his top priority.
And, the newly appointed Nainital District Magistrate added, grievances of the citizens will be solved on priority basis keeping in view certain geographical conditions of the district.
Apart from that to smooth vehicular traffic of the Nainital district will be his top priority, Hayanki said. In a bid to ensure proper parking facilities for the visitors, efforts will also be made to construct multi-parking systems so that the tourists could go home with good memory of their hill sojourn, he added.
Besides, Hayanki also emphasised on the need to expedite developmental works under proper monitoring of the said works.
