Dinesh Sharma a research student of Uttarakhand Sanskrit University has been selected to present his research paper in the Tribhuwan University of Kathmandu, Nepal. He would present his research paper on ‘Gorkhali’ the language spoken in Dehradun area in the 35 annual convention of the linguistic society of Nepal in the month of November. language experts from 40 countries would take part in this convention.
His research indicates that the Gorkhali which emerged in the Garhi- Dakra area of Dehradun is an outcome of a fine blending of Khari Boli which is developed from Shaurseni Apbhransh with the Nepali language.
