Taking action on complaints being received for some time now, the city magistrate inspected and later sealed an institution being advertised as a nursing college. The Haldwani city magistrate Pankaj Upadhyay conducted a check at the institute on Thursday and found various anomalies there. On arriving at the Sai College of Nursing on Nainital Road, the city magistrate found that the institution is approved only for career counseling but was providing admission to unemployed youth in various courses of nursing.
City magistrate Upadhyay informed that the administration had been consistenly receiving complaints from the guardians of those who had taken admission in the institute.
It was being alleged that after securing admission in the institute, the students had to move from pillar to post in order to appear in their main examination. While conducting a check of the institute, the city magistrate confiscated various documents and sealed the institute.
