BJP activists who participated in the Vidhan Sabha gherao rally were
inconvenienced following the city bBandh called by the Dehradun-based jewellers against the Centre slapping excise duty on the gold and diamond- studded
gold ornaments.
Some of the protesters said that they could not manage food of their choice with most of the eateries being shut. Some of the protesters were found moving here and there to find eateries that were open to help themselves with lunch.
