The Uttarakhand Ex -Services league has demanded immediate release of Kulbhushan Jadhav.
The patron, Dehradun Ex-Services league, Brig. K.G. Behl, (Retd.) said that Ex -Servicemen deplore the way the Pakistan Government has declared Jadhav as spy and sentenced him to death.
He said that it is surprising how all of a sudden serious spying charges have been framed against Jhadhav who now is sentenced to death.
“Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s foreign Affairs adviser Sartaz Aziz had acknowledged in December 2016 that the Military Court has merely recorded some statements but there is no serious evidence to support it. We support the stand taken in Parliament by the Government that was supported by all parties. The Government should put full pressure on Pakistan Government to ensure release of Jadhav,’’ he said.
