A new batch of MBA (Power Management) programme was launched by the State chief secretary Shatrughan Singh in the Bidholi Campus of UPES on saturday. This two year program in distance learning mode has been tailor made for the officers and Engineers of the various power utilities of Uttarakhand Government.

The Chief Secretary was warmly welcomed by Dr S J Chopra, Chancellor of UPES with a bouquet on this occasion.
Principal Secretary Dr Umakant Panwar expressed his gratitude towards the University management and advised them to devise more such innovative programs towards capacity building in other domains also but at the same time also cautioned that the course content should be of relevance to the geographical conditions of Uttarakhand.
