With a total of 208 members including members in practice and service, we have started the green initiative to communicate about the schemes. Mailing system among the members, Whatsapp group of the officiating members is being used.”

About the celebration of the day, Sudhanshu said, “After flag hoisting in the morning at the branch office, the idea of voluntary income disclosure scheme 2016 among various cadres of people across the district was disseminated. On July 2, live webcast of finance minister Arun Jaitley on the scheme was aired in Jawahar lal Nehru youth centre at Bhagat Singh Chowk from 4 to 6 pm. While demanding our rights for good roads, water and electricity, the rights of paying taxes must not be forgotten.”
Advocate Naresh Babar, an eminent tax consultant in the city told The Pioneer, “As per the Prime Minister’s appeal to the citizens of India to declare their property and submit their income tax, we are doing one to one counseling of the people of Haridwar to enjoy the benefits of white money and stay tension free. We have 1,200 people in our whatsapp group and are propagating the direct tax dispute resolution scheme amongst other groups. Many administrative officials, advocates and doctors are attached to our group.”
“Upto income of Rs. 2.5 lakhs per annum there is total tax exemption, from 2.5 to 5 lakhs tax is calculated at the rate of 10%, what can be more cheaper way to declare your money as white money and lead a relaxed life,” saidBabar.
