The UFDC chairman and Khanpur MlA Kunwar Pranav Singh ‘Champion’ has said that he considers himself to be a viable candidate for contesting election on Congress ticket for the Haridwar lok Sabha seat.
Referring to the sitting Haridwar MP and Union Minister Harish Rawat, Singh equated him to an unfaithful and heartless partner who cares little for his better half. "He forgot about his constituency and the problems being faced by the people there for four years after being elected MP from Haridwar. With the general election approaching nearer, he has once again remembered the constituency and is showing concern for it.
It was I who helped Rawat secure maximum votes from my Assembly constituency and I have been elected MlA thrice so I believe that I will be a better candidate from the Haridwar constituency in the lok Sabha election," said Singh.
