In order to curb sale of illicit liquor for the occasion of new year celebration on December 31, the Champawat district administration has decided to grant licence for sale of liquor for a day on December 31, 2013.
Dealers who are interested to sell liquor for a day on the occasion of new year celebrations on December 31, 2013, they may contact the district excise office to get their license for this purpose, after completing of necessary formalities, said Deependra Kumar Chaudhary, District Magistrate, Champawat.
This step has beed taken in regard to grant license for sale of liquor for a day on December 31, 2013, to curb the sale of illicit liquor on the occasion of new year eve, he added.
