Taking cognizance of a complaint filed by Kushal Nath of Srinagar Garhwal, the Uttarakhand State Commission for Protection of Child Rights has asked the Chief Education Officer (CEO) of Pauri to investigate complaint of alleged flouting of provisions of Right to Education (RTE) by private schools of Khirsu Block.
The commission has directed the CEO to prepare a factual report of the action taken and submit it to the commission till May 06. The complainant had alleged that the private schools of Khirsu are not following the provisions of RTE due to which the poor families are being affected.
