To assess the loss to the tune of thousands of crores due to the rain this season as claimed by the Uttarakhand Government, an inter- ministerial team headed by the Joint Secretary Ministry of Home Affairs Satpal Chouhan is visiting the State on October 6. The team would stay in the state till October 9, the State Government officials said, adding that things had been intimated to the Secretary to CM. Other members are Gopal Prasad Director, Minister of Finance; Dr Al Waghmare, Director, Ministry of Agriculture, Sudhir Kumar, Superintending Engineer, Ministry of Water Resource; UC Katara, Regional Officer Ministry of Road and Transport & Highway and Rakesh Kumar, Asst Director, Department of Rural Development.
