Candidates go all out in last push on election eve

A day before polling for lok Sabha election 2014, the partymen and candidates of Samajwadi Party, Communist Party of India (CPI), CPI (Marxist) and independent candidates tried their best to woo voters on Tuesday.

SP state president Dr Satyanarayan Sachan said the partymen and candidates conducted door to door campaign throughout the day and motivated the voters in favour of party candidates. A party worker had been appointed for each Vidhan Sabha constituency and directed to be in touch with ground level party workers and observe the situation minutely.

In a bid to woo voters and to ensure a high voter turnout, the party had organised a training session with party workers to manage poll booths 15 days ago. CPI (M) candidate from Tehri, Shiv Prasad Devli said that along with party workers, he conducted door to door campaign at Buti Bazaar, Ambiwala, Chandrabani and other places throughout the day and appealed the voters to exercise their vote in his favour.
