To address the demands of different organsations, Chief Minister Vijay Bahuguna convened a Cabinet meeting in the Vidhan Sabha on Monday.
The Cabinet has decided to increase the age limit from 35 years to 40 years in State Government jobs.
The Cabinet has also formed a Cabinet committee, comprising four ministers namely Harak Singh Rawat, SS Negi, Pritam Singh and Yashpal Arya, to give recommendation about how to regularise employees of Uttarakhand Purv Sainik Kalyan Nigam limited (UPNl); decided to appointing two deputy chairman in minority commission; waived VAT on Gandhi ashram product; decided to form State level committee under social welfare department including four MlA and 11 non-Government member at state level and 15 non-government member in district level committee and decided to declare DRDA employee as State Government employee.
