Cabinet holds important meeting

Prior to the Assembly Session at Bharadisain in Gairsain, an important meeting of the State Cabinet was held at Assembly building late on Wednesday evening. In the meeting, the State Cabinet cleared the proposal of the supplementary Budget which would be tabled during the session.  In the session the draft of the Transfer Act for the State Government employees and the lokayukta Act are expected to be tabled by the Government. Both these important bills were with the standing committee of the Assembly.  One of the interesting aspects of the ensuing session is that the BJPs members have put up more number of questions than those listed by the Opposition members. Terming it an indicator of the BJP MlAs not being satisfied with the working of the Government, the leader of the Opposition Indira Hridayesh said that the MlAs of the BJP too would try to corner the ministers in the Assembly with their questions.  However, the BJP State president Ajay Bhatt claimed that by raising more questions the BJP MlAs have shown that they are more concerned about the public issues and that it also shows their constitutional knowledge.
