Five candidates have purchased nomination papers for the ongoing Doiwala Assembly bypolls on Friday. The polling will be held on July 21 and counting of votes on July 25. Dehradun district magistrate Chandresh Kumar Yadav inspected Doiwala tehsil and reviewed election preparedness with the district officials.
He directed the Government employees who have been deputed on election duty to complete their assigned works on time.
The administration will take all possible measures for the completion of Doiwala assembly bypoll in the district. As per the direction of Election Commission, Doiwala assembly bypolls will be completed in the district.
Dowiala assembly bypolls in the district will be held between June 27 and July 31.
In order to complete the bypolls peacefully, various department officials will be deputed on election duty from time to time apart from this government vehicles will be seized as per requirement.
No district officers and officials will be relieved without district election officer’s permission if they are transferred during Assembly by-poll in the district.
SDM PC Dumka said that a total of five candidates purchased nomination papers for Doiwala assembly by-poll on Friday.
Those persons purchased nomination papers are Anand Kumar Aggarwal, K Ahmed Khan, DK Pal, Furkan Ahmed and liyakat.
