The Communication services have remained badly disrupted in Haldwani for the past five days following the shutdown of BSNl’s Kushmkhera exchange.
The closure of markets here on Wednesday in protest against the rape cum murder of a girl further confounded things as connectivity being provided by some others communication agencies was also affected. Following shutting down of the Kushumkhera exchange of the BSNl, all the communication services, mainly internet services, were badly hit, affecting thousands of BSNl customers.
The commercial activities based on communication services, including net banking services, cyber cafes and other online services, have been badly affected due to shutting down of the aforesaid BSNl exchange.
