Doon resident Jagrit Goyal has developed a mobile App with the help of which one can easily book auto rickshaw in the State Capital. The developers of the mobile application have named it ‘City Auto App’.
Addressing media persons here at press club on Wednesday, Goyal claimed that the App would be user friendly and commuters would be charged with a very reasonable amount of money for its services. He added that the company has taken a special care for safety of the passengers and drivers would be appointed after through verification. Goyal said that the rent is fixed on the basis of kilometers commuted and there would be no hidden charges like ride time or waiting time.
He said that the App is linked with mobile wallet also so that the users can make payment by online transfer of money. The service auto services would be available from 6 am to 11 PM. Congratulating the developers of the App, the Rajpur road MlA said that people of the city would get benefited by the new application.
The President of the Pankaj Arora said that the app would be helpful in providing easy and comfortable auto facility at reasonable rates. He informed that initially 70 auto-rickshaws are linked in the service and soon more autos would be connected. The general secretary of the auto union Dhanpal Singh Rana, Ketan Sonekar, Arpan Gupta, Sarafat Ali and others were present in the launching ceremony.
