Vishwa Bhaishjya Sanhita (encyclopedia of shrubs with details of their medicinal properties) by Acharya Balkrishna was released by saints.
The 'sanhita' compiled by Acharya Balkrishna comprises 2 lakh names in 150 languages. Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev said that the book would be very useful.
Acharya Balkrishna said that he compiled the book with an aim to extend knowledge of shrubs among the commoners. The book would comprise 2,600 pages. "This is the unique book of its short. It has been compiled after thorough research," he said.
A team of vaidyas (ayurveda doctor) worked hard to bring the facts together. After Gujarat CM Narendra Modi told him that the facts in the book should be make available at internet so that the new generation could have an idea about them, Acharya said that he would take efforts for it and soon it would be available there.
Balkrishna said that the encyclopeadia would be useful in propagating Ayurveda across the world because it was prepared in several languages. He said that it would be useful in enhancing knowledge of the vaidyas about the shrubs and soon it would be available for one and all. Ayurveda Siddhanta Rahasya (A practical approach to the science of Yoga) was also released.
