The post- mortem report dated May 13 did not reveal any cause of death. The deceased’s father found something amiss in the autopsy report and took things to DCP concerned, requesting exhumation of the body to verify the exact cause of death.
Satisfied with the process, Anwar said on Thursday that the re- post mortem and forensic science laboratory analysis report would unravel the mystery shrouding his son’s death. However, rubbishing foul play suspicion, Anees Siddiqui, Seemi’s father, said that things were absolutely transparent for all to see.
“Imran and Seemi were happy in their married life. Imran died of natural cause. Deceased’s father Anwar insisted on exhumation to throw slur on the character of his daughter Seemi as she refused to sign some land –related papers as dictated by Anwar. She was right as the land under question was legally under her possession,” he said.
