The cremation of two Indians—Ganesh Bahadur Thapa, resident of Cantt, and Govind Singh, resident of Patelnagar—who were among the 25 killed on June 20 morning in a suicide bomb blast in Kabul, was conducted in Haridwar and Dehradun, respectively, on Friday.
The bodies were brought from Kabul via New Delhi to Dehradun by an ambulance in the morning. The bodies were then handed over to the
families. Govind Singh, 48, was working in Kabul in the Canadian embassy as security guard for the past few years. Ganesh Bahadur Thapa, aged 52, was also working in Kabul.
