While former Chief Minister Harish Rawat has already questioned the form of lord Shiva to be depicted in the show at Kedarnath, others too were heard raising questions after photographs of the laser show trials spread on the social media.
One of the photographs shows the image of a blue- coloured Shiva being projected on the shrine. An observer said, “lord Shiva is actually said to be fair like the colour of the moon and only his throat is blue coloured due to the poison he had taken and kept there which is why he is also called Neelkanth.
Actually, lord Vishnu is blue skinned and not lord Shiva but surprisingly one of his depictions wrongly shows him blue coloured and that too in Kedarnath where he is believed to manifest in a living form.”
