A team from Himalayan Hospital Jolly Grant in conjunction with Shantikunj arranged a blood donation camp at Shri Ram Acharya Janmshtabadi Hospital situated in the campus of Shantikunj on Friday and collected 130 units of blood.Gauri Shankar Sharma, manager, Gayatri family, said that blood running in the human body is gift offered by the God to everyone without any discrimination of caste, religion and gender. Dr Subham from Himalayan Hospital said that just one unit of blood can save life of four persons. Dr Gayatri Sharma, former chief medical officer and in- charge of the hospital, said that human blood cannot be manufactured by human being. Gaurav Singh Rawat, PRO of the hospital, informed that one can get one unit of blood by submitting his/her blood donor card.
